Therapy for Life transitions
Change is rich with opportunity.
Major life changes often make us question many of the things we once understood to be fundamental.
Yet how often do we really seize the opportunity to reconsider who we are and what we really want? If you’ve found yourself here, it’s likely that the answer is: not often.
Staring at a blank page can be paralyzing. But it can also be absolutely thrilling. Working with a therapist as you work through a major life change can help you develop new ideas and ways of thinking about yourself and your life goals.
Therapy can help you…
Get the added support you need
Sometimes bigger moments require bigger support. Work with someone who will listen and provide emotional reinforcement as you traverse choppy waters.
Get clear on your goals and values
Redefine old narratives about success or what life “should” look like. Let yourself get more creative and aligned with how you choose to design your life.
Level up to meet the challenge
Sometimes it takes an outside perspective to see the growth edge we’re moving into. Accept the call and allow it to transform you.
I want you to know:
You don’t have to navigate this alone.

Coaching can be a great alternative to therapy when it comes to navigating life transitions, and oftentimes both approaches will help you consider things like your values and goals, and help you create actionable steps forward.
The most important difference between therapy and coaching is that coaches are not licensed to treat mental health, and so can be limited when it comes to things like addressing the longer-term patterns and past experiences that a particular life transition may be amplifying.
On the other hand, more specialized coaches, such as a career coach, may teach you more specialized skills, such as resume tips and interview techniques.
